AGARTALA: March 23, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha expressed confidence in the landslide victory of BJP candidates in the upcoming elections for two Lok Sabha constituencies and by-election for an assembly seat in Tripura. He stated that the opposition lacks substantial issues to contest in the elections.
He criticised opposition parties for misleading the public by forming the INDI Alliance. Dr Saha led a Padyatra here Saturday in support of former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, the candidate for the West Tripura Parliamentary constituency, and Dipak Majumdar, the candidate for the Ramnagar Assembly Constituency by-election.
He attributed his belief in a big win to the overwhelming support and response received during the Padyatra. "From BJP Karyakartas to leaders, everyone is visiting people's homes seeking their support based on our work,” Dr Saha said and lased out opposition political parties that allegedly show up during elections without working for the people.
