Job Oriented Training Programmes for Promoting Unemployed/Under employed Youth from NE Region – Sponsored by MDONER
Central Institute of Plastics Engineering &Technology (CIPET), an extended arm of Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India offers various Long Term, Short Term and Skill Development Programs for providing trained manpower to support the Plastics & Allied industries in the country. Skill Development Programs offered at CIPET are sponsored by various sponsoring agencies like Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Minority Affairs, departments in State Governments, Organizations like Power Finance Corporation of India, SABIC, etc.
As envisioned in the North Eastern Vision 2020 –
“People of the region want to banish poverty and illiteracy and ensure that every family in region should have the opportunity to live a healthy and secure life with dignity and selfrespect. They would like to enjoy freedoms freedom from hunger and poverty, freedom to exercise their choice in their avocations, in incomeearning and spending decisions and would like to achieve progress and prosperity”, Ministry of DONER is providing ample opportunity for the development of the youth in these regions by providing various skill oriented free training programs through reputed institutions / organizations. Training is provided on various domains like Construction, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Design, Machine Tool operation, Plastics Technology, CAD/CAM, Machine Operation, etc. CIPET offers courses on Plastics Processing Machine Operator, Design and Development with CAD/CAM/CAE, etc. with the assistance of Ministry of DONER at various CIPET Centres which are located across the country.
Chennai, the capital of Tamilnadu in South India is a home to all cultures of our country and almost people from various states are present at Chennai. Being one of the fastest growing industrial hub of the country, Chennai has become a preferred second native for the people from other states. The first centre of CIPET was started in the year 1968 at Chennai and it is the biggest centres of CIPET with all the facilities with an ambience for good education. The centre has the best infrastructure and good faculty to handle the theory and practical sessions. The programs are designed in such a way that the trainees get the theory as well as handsontraining in the concerned machinery, so that they are ready to get absorbed in the industry.
The skill oriented programs that are sponsored by MDONER are residential with free boarding, lodging and training. Above all these, trainees will be provided with placement assistance and about 75% of the successfully course completed trainees are getting employed in Plastics industries in Tamilnadu as well as in other parts of the country. CIPET is committed to improve the employability of the North Eastern region of the country by joining hands with Ministry of DONER.
CIPET Chennai will be conducting a free training program of six months duration as follows:
- Plastics Processing Machine Operator
- Design & Development of Automobile & Aerospace Products with CAD/CAM/CAE
First batch training is already in progress.
Second batch will be commenced from 27th April, 2015. Training, Boarding and Lodging are free and these courses are only for youth from North East Region. This opportunity may be utilized for the better prospects in life and accomplish the goals envisioned in Vision 2020.
