Ram Madhav says days of CPI(M) government are counted

Agartala, September 13, 2017: BJP’s National General Secretary Ram Madhav has warned CPI(M) of ‘counter action’ for its ‘misdeeds’ after February 2018 Tripura assembly elections which he is confident of winning. “Days of CPI(M) government are counted…only some months left”, he said here on Wednesday.

Ram Madhav issued veil warning to the ruling party after visiting injured ABVP activists at GBP Hospital here. Several students and some policemen were injured in fresh violence in campuses of MBB College and BBM College late Tuesday night after results of college student council elections were declared.

He deplored ‘anarchy’ and ‘goodaism’ unleashed in colleges by CPI(M) cadres to back SFI to manipulate and influence election. Ram Madhav assured that the BJP government in Tripura would ensure free democratic and peaceful environment in college campuses with zero interference of political parties.

SFI and its partner Tribal Students Union won student councils in all 22 colleges. ABVP performed well in some colleges in north Tripura specially Kanchanpur college where it secured 11 seats of total 24 in the council.
