RB competitions on Vigilance Awareness Week

Agartala, November 3, 2017: The Rubber Board has conducted elocution competition for its employees and for students of higher secondary schools in and around Kottayam on the subject ‘My vision – Corruption Free India’.  A poster competition was also conducted for college students on the subject.

In the English elocution competition for students of higher secondary schools Merlin Sarah Mathew (Girideepam Bethany Central School, Kottayam), Ben Varghese Cherian (Baker Vidyapeeth, Kottayam) and Nadha Sunil (Girideepam Bethany Central School, Kottayam) won the first, second and third prizes respectively.  In the competition for the Board employees P.V. Suresh Babu, G. Sunil Kumar and A.R. Jayakumar won first, second and third prizes respectively. 

In the poster competition for college students A. Abhirami (BCM College, Kottayam), Samson Jose (Devamatha College, Kuravilangad) and Master Muhammed Sirajudheen (Baselius College, Kottayam) won first, second and third prizes respectively.

A debate was also held on the theme “Are the present anti-corruption measures, sufficient enough to achieve our vision- Corruption free India or not?” for employees of the Board and other central government offices in and around Kottayam.
