‘COLORS’ MAGAZINE LAUNCHED

 

A magazine titled ‘Colors’ was launched on 11 September at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. Commissioner & Secretary, Works & Housing, Mhathung Kithan graced the function as the Chief Guest.

             

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Kithan lauded the Editors of Colors Magazine - Eunice Tungoe and Vileno Tase, for choosing a profession true to their studies that is Mass Communication.

           

He opined that media is an important vehicle for educating the public for the welfare of the people and expressed optimism that the duo would be able to achieve their visions by getting into the noble profession.

           

He expressed confidence that they would give a positive contribution for the welfare of the society.

           

Vileno, while highlighting on the purpose of the magazine said that Colors is based on multifarious form, which will provide a platform to unleash the hidden talents of all kinds, he called upon the public for a positive response for creation of a better society.

           

Colors will be a monthly issue and is priced at Rs. 35/-. The inaugural issue September 2007 features renowned singer Nise Meruno as cover story.                                 September 2007
