Former MP Kunal Ghosh falls sick at the police station

AGARTALA, September 21 2021: Trinamool Congress spokesperson and former MP Kunal Ghosh suddenly fell ill after appearing at a police station here Tuesday. He was immediately taken to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
Doctors said Ghosh was suffering from hypertension and sugar related problem. They however termed his condition very stable.
Appearance of Kunal Ghosh at the police station relate to staging a protest inside the Khowai police station in Khowai district on August 8 last in presence of Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee. Tripura police sent ‘Notice to Appear’ to six leaders including Banerjee.
Though police registered the ‘suo moto’ case at Khowai police station, but fixed NCC police station in New Capital Complex here for questioning and recording statement of the FIR named persons.
In this case connection Kunal Ghosh and two others were summoned to the NCC police station. Soon after interrogation which lasted for about 20 minutes, Ghosh complained of sickness and even vomited.
He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital.
West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu was also noticed in the case.
