NATIONAL, July 17, 2025: National: India’s startup landscape is entering a new era- one driven by a younger, bolder generation of entrepreneurs who are innovating at scale and speed. Capturing the spirit of this momentum, the Avendus Wealth – Hurun India U30 List 2025 recognises 79 of the country’s most promising founders and business leaders, all aged 30 or under, who are actively shaping the future of India’s economy.
Among the standout names on this year’s list is Shashvat Nakrani, Founder, BharatPe, who has been recognised for his exceptional contributions to India’s fintech revolution. Featured in the Avendus Wealth – Hurun India U30 List 2025, Shashvat represents the spirit of a new generation of founders that is transforming industries and reimagining the future of financial services.
The list also underscores the rise of India’s academic institutions in nurturing entrepreneurial talent. IIT Delhi ranks second as the most represented undergraduate university on the list, with alumni such as Shashvat Nakrani, Anand Agrawal, and Rishabh Goel leading the charge.
Collectively, these young leaders on the list have raised $5.2 billion in equity and built ventures valued at over $25 million. BharatPe, founded by Shashvat Nakrani, also ranks third on the list in Record Equity raised at USD 604 million, standing as a testament to its scale and impact in India’s fintech sector. Today, as BharatPe gears up for its IPO, this milestone recognition reaffirms Shashvat’s role as a pioneering force in India’s digital economy and his long-term vision of financial inclusion at scale.
In the past, Shashvat has previously been acknowledged as the Youngest Wealth Creator in the 360 ONE Wealth Creators List 2025, and has also featured in the Hurun Rich List 2024 and IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List, cementing his reputation as one of India’s most influential young entrepreneurs.
