AGARTALA, March 24, 2024: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha urged party workers to work with more dedication to ensure the BJP's victory in every booth in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He emphasised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantee can ensure the development of Janajati (tribal) communities and attain overall development of the state.
Dr Saha made these remarks Sunday while addressing an organisational meeting in Ambassa, part of the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. The seat is reserved for tribal candidates, and the Chief Minister addressed both indigenous and general voters.
He asserted that the Prime Minister's guarantee could ensure the development and overall welfare of the state and its people. The Chief Minister urged party workers to work with more dedication to secure a win for the BJP in every booth of the constituency.
He claimed that, unlike the CPI(M), the BJP believes in serving the people and not making false promises. He also criticised the CPI(M) for being a party associated with murder, terror, and violence, and did not spare the Congress either.
The event was attended by BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, East Tripura candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma, state General Secretary Amit Rakshit and others.
