BSF organises inter-sector badminton competition
Closing ceremony graced by the IG Frontier HQ Tripura

AGARTALA, January 06 2024: The Border Security Force in Tripura recently held an Inter Sector Badminton Competition in Agartala. The closing ceremony, held on Saturday, was graced by the presence of Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IG Frontier HQ Tripura, as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, Das presented the trophy to the winner and runner-up, and distributed certificates to all the participants. The event was attended by senior officers from the Frontier Tripura. The final matches for all categories took place on January 6 with all participants displaying great sportsmanship.
Selected players will now have the opportunity to compete in the Inter Frontier Badminton competition in 2024. The Border Security Force recognizes the importance of maintaining a balance between a healthy mind and body in order to achieve sustained professional efficiency.
In addition to developing leadership qualities, esprit-de-corps and discipline, sports also promote unity, cooperation and camaraderie. The organisers believe that these events will foster a spirit of sportsmanship and competitiveness among the Seema Praharis.
