Prime Minister to inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026
NATIONAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on February 16 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Expo, running from February 16 to 20, will be a national showcase of artificial intelligence (AI), demonstrating the intersection of policy, innovation, and everyday technology.
Spanning over 70,000 square meters and divided into 10 arenas, the Expo will feature participation from global technology firms, startups, academic institutions, government bodies and international partners highlighting collaboration in the AI space through 13 country pavilions from nations such as Australia, Japan and the United Kingdom.
The event will host over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, organized around three key themes: People, Planet, and Progress. It will spotlight over 600 promising startups, many providing scalable and relevant AI solutions. The Expo is expected to attract more than 250,000 visitors, including international delegates, aiming to foster partnerships and create business opportunities within the global AI community.
Over 500 sessions are planned with more than 3,250 speakers and panelists, focusing on the transformative impact of AI across various sectors and planning future actions to ensure its benefits reach everyone globally.
