40 benches to dispose total 21,410 various cases

National Lok Adalat of the year in Tripura on May 10

AGARTALA, May 08, 2025: The second National Lok Adalat of the year will be held in Tripura on May 10 involving 40 benches for the disposal of 21,410 cases. The cases include motor accident compensation, marital disputes, bank loan repayment, BSNL bill payment, conciliatory criminal disputes, cheque bounce, consumer interest, electricity bills and employment.

Notices have been served to parties and opposing parties, and those notified in the Lok Adalat office can take advantage of pre-conciliation or disposal by contacting the District Legal Services Authority and Sub-division Legal Services Authority. Odhikar Mitra will assist those notified in the Court.

High Court of Tripura Judge Justice Amarnath Gaur, Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, has given instructions to ensure the success of the Lok Adalat. Jhuma Dutta Chowdhury, Member-Secretary of the Tripura State Legal Services Authority, has urged all concerned to avail the facility of speedy and free legal settlement of cases.
