Ayurveda Biology introduced as a subject of UGC- NET

NATIONAL, November 08, 2024: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced Ayurveda Biology as a subject in the UGC- National Eligibility Test (NET) through the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NET is conducted twice a year - June and December.

Based on the expert committees’ recommendations, the Commission in its 581st meeting held on June 25 2024 has decided to add Ayurveda Biology as an additional subject from December 2024 onwards to the existing list of subjects of UGC- NET.

The notification issued by Prof. Manish Joshi, Secretary of UGC vide No. F. 84-1 (Ayurveda Biology)/ 2024 (NET) dated November 5, 2024 the syllabus of the Ayurveda Biology subject is available on the UGC- NET website www.ugcnetonline.in
