Farmers to receive Rs 45 crore 43 lakh 74 thousand: Minister Nath

Beneficiaries registered under the 20th installment of the PM-KISAN

AGARTALA, July 30, 2025: Tripura's Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath Wednesday announced that beneficiaries registered under the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) will receive a total of Rs 45 crore 43 lakh 74 thousand on August 2. The move is a significant step to boost farmers' incomes and promote agricultural development. 

The state and central governments are working together to ensure financial security for farmers and promote agricultural development, the Minister said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 2 will transfer the 20th installment of the scheme directly to farmers' bank accounts from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. 

The main event in the state will be held at the State Agriculture Research Station in AD Nagar where Nath will be present and listen to Prime Minister’s address.
