Girl from Tripura mysteriously disappears in New Delhi
No progress made in investigation, family approached state government

AGARTALA, July 12, 2025: A college student from Tripura has mysteriously disappeared in New Delhi recently. Parents of the girl staying in Delhi as her father is working in the army at a facility in the national capital have urged the state government to help rescue her.
The girl went out of her home on a plea to receive her friend at the railway station. She was last seen getting down on the Signature Bridge at Wazirabad in Delhi.
The Signature Bridge is a cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge which spans the Yamuna River and connects Wazirabad to East Delhi.
The family of Sneha Debnath (19) hails from Bhuratali village in Sabroom subdivision, south Tripura.
The missing incident occurred on July 7. Her mobile phone is also found to be switched off.
The family has lodged a complaint with the Mehrauli police station. No progress has been made in the investigation so far.
