Relief operations continue in Punjab, J&K and Himachal

Four IAF helicopters and 35 crew members working day and night

NATIONAL, September 07, 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has continued relief operations in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh rescuing 541 people and airlifting over 10,000 kg of essential relief material.

The Western Air Command of IAF stated that the IAF has assets positioned for follow-up tasks, reflecting its commitment to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.

The IAF has four helicopters and 35 crew members working day and night to ensure the success of these missions despite the subsiding flood situation.
