Annual fashion spectrum 2026 inaugurated at the NIFT
REGIONAL: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Shillong launched its annual festival, Fashion Spectrum 2026, with vibrant displays at Umsawli, Mawpat, Shillong, centered around the theme "ZAP!" which symbolises creativity and energy.
This festival unites academic excellence with lively co-curricular activities, offering a platform for NIFT students and participants from esteemed institutions to celebrate creativity through various events.
Chief Guest Bamin Tarang highlighted the theme's significance, emphasizing creative courage as vital for progress, while NIFT Shillong's Director, Dr Brijesh Madhukar Deore, framed the event as a testament to teamwork and creative education.
The ceremony featured notable guests like Rima Sonar and Albert Malniang, concluding with an exciting performance by NIFT students, heralding a festival filled with competitions, discussions, showcases and sports activities.
