PM Modi to inaugurate extended facilities at Tripura Sundari Temple

AGARTALA, September 18, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tripura on September 22 to inaugurate extended facilities at the Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district. The redevelopment and expansion project, one of India's 51 Shakti Peethas, was funded by the central government.

The project aims to boost religious tourism and includes civic amenities and various facilities for pilgrims and tourists.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha personally inspected and oversaw the arrangements for visit of the Prime Minister at Udaipur Thursday. He was accompanied by ministers, public representatives and senior government and security officials
