NATIONAL, November 30, 2025: The Winter session of Parliament will commence tomorrow (Monday) with 13 bills slated for passage including the National Highways (Amendment) Bill, the Atomic Energy Bill, the Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, the Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill and the Higher Education Commission of India Bill 2025.
In the Lok Sabha, the Finance Minister will introduce the Central Excise (Amendment) Bill and the Health Security se National Security Cess Bill, 2025. Besides, discussions and voting on the first batch of Supplementary Demands for Grants for 2025-26 will occur. Earlier, an all-party meeting convened in New Delhi aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of both Houses was led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and attended by 50 leaders from 36 different political parties.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju asserted that the government is seeking cooperation from floor leaders of all parties for a productive session and is ready to address other pressing issues according to parliamentary rules.
