Tripura CM hails Prime Minister for working for the nation and states

Said every state is making progress and witnessing development

AGARTALA, August 15, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working for the overall development of the nation as well as for the progress of every state.

Dr Saha made the statement after hosting the national flag at his official residence on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day here Friday.

He said it is a matter of pride for all of us about the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working for the progress of the nation. He has also been working for the development of not only Tripura but also other states.

"All the states are progressing and witnessing development. This is all possible due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this day, I want to congratulate all the people on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day," he stated.

The Chief Minister later hoisted the National Flag at the Assam Rifles Ground, inspected the ceremonial parade and felicitated distinguished security officers for their exemplary achievements.

In his speech, Dr Saha highlighted the state government’s achievements across various sectors and its unwavering commitment to people-centric initiatives. 

The celebrations concluded with a cultural programme presented by the youths and students.
