Tripura government is working to address the teacher crisis: CM
Acknowledged need for education and knowledge in all aspects of life

AGARTALA, August 13, 2025: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has stated that the state government is working to address the teacher crisis in government schools and those of government-aided ones. He highlighted the importance of knowledge and the need for students to have a desire to learn about everything.
He was speaking at the platinum jubilee celebration of Bardowali School here Wednesday.
Dr Saha laid the importance of the Indian national flag and the implementation of the National Education Policy, which aims to create a uniform curriculum across the country. He also highlighted the implementation of the Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework to create healthy competition among schools.
“The state government has provided over 19,000 government jobs and created opportunities for entrepreneurship”, Dr Saha said and acknowledged the need for education and knowledge in all aspects of life.
He said he has discussed the issue with officials to address the teacher crisis in government-aided schools.
