AGARTALA: The ICFAI University Tripura hosted an International Conference on “Advanced Communications and Machine Intelligence (MICA 2025)” from December 22 to 24 at its university campus. MICA is a premier international conference that has evolved into a multidisciplinary platform bringing together academicians, scientists, industry researchers and students working in the areas of advanced communications and machine intelligence.
The conference facilitates the exchange of knowledge, showcases cutting-edge research, and fosters collaboration through keynote addresses, technical sessions, tutorials and panel discussions. By uniting diverse stakeholders, MICA 2025 aims to strengthen academic and industry collaboration and promote innovation in communication technologies and machine intelligence.
The Inaugural Ceremony of MICA 2025 was held in the august presence of several distinguished dignitaries including Prof Anil Dattatraya Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and Chairman, NBA; Prof (Dr) Biplab Halder, Vice-Chancellor, ICFAI University Tripura; Prof Arun Kumar Pujari, Former Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Rajasthan; Prof. Cowlessur Sanjeev K, Professor, Université des Mascareignes, Mauritius, Prof Mohammad S Obaidat, Professor, University of Jordan and Dr A Ranganath, Registrar, ICFAI University Tripura.
The conference featured a comprehensive program comprising multiple keynote talks, technical paper presentation sessions, and panel discussions. A galaxy of eminent resource persons from across the globe chaired and addressed various technical sessions.
A large number of professors, deans, principals, research scholars and faculty members participated in the conference and presented their research papers. The conference was generously supported by several prestigious organisations including Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), GAIL (India) Limited, ARDENT Computech Pvt Ltd and the Directorate of Information Technology, Tripura.
The support from those organisations significantly contributed to the successful organization of the conference and strengthened academia–industry–government collaboration. The entire event coordinated by Dr Joylal Sarkar and Dr Bipul Sen, Assistant Professors of the University.
