Pickleball Association Announces end of trials
REGIONAL: The Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA) announced the conclusion of the Team Nagaland Trials at The Fitness House, Dimapur. This event selected athletes to represent Nagaland in the Inaugural Mithun Rhino Pickleball Championship 2026, an interstate competition with Assam on March 14-15.
The championship aims to enhance sports diplomacy, promote youth engagement and strengthen community relationships through sport. The NPA is committed to encouraging competitive excellence and inclusivity in pickleball while encouraging healthy lifestyles and gender inclusion.
The Nagaland team that includes champions from prior tournaments, has commenced training, with gratitude expressed to The Fitness House for their support. The event signifies the growing presence of pickleball in Nagaland and highlights collaborative efforts in regional sports development.
