Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's tribal student conference

AGARTALA: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha stated that India aims to achieve the third-largest economy by 2030 highlighting the critical role of youth and students in this progress. Speaking at the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's (ABVP) tribal student conference in Agartala Sunday, he underlined the government's commitment to developing local and minority languages, and strengthening student representation in colleges. 

Dr Saha reflected on the past challenges faced during the 1970s and praised the stability brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014. He urged students to engage in national development beyond academics and mentioned initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and AI advancements. 

He reiterated that the government prioritises the development of tribal communities and the Kokborok-speaking population. State's Higher Education Minister Kishor Burman and ABVP leaders were present at the event.
