BSF arrests 10 Bangladeshi infiltrators in Agartala border

AGARTALA, August 02, 2024: BSF has arrested 10 Bangladeshi infiltrators near the Agartala-Akhaura border in Sanmura Friday evening. The detentions were based on specific inputs and were a result of increased alertness and vigilance along the border.
The Bangladeshis, who had earlier infiltrated into India, were apprehended while attempting to illegally cross over to Bangladesh. The BSF has said to have tightened vigil and increased troop deployment due to the violent protests in cross the border.
